D week – Dirty Germs, Donuts & Dads
This week we will focus on ‘dirt & germs’, dads, donuts and the letter D. We will have discussion about the importance of hand washing, what germs are, watch a short movie about being clean, and practice hand washing using glitter in lotion as the ‘germs’.
We are looking forward to our dads coming to school on Wednesday! If dad isn’t able to make it a grandpa is sure welcome to come.
When it’s too cold to go outside (wind chill 0 or below), the preschoolers go to the gym for large motor activities such as the parachute, ribbons, balls, tag. We have a lot of fun, perhaps they like it more than being outside! It’s a good change of scenery, that’s for sure.
At dismissal time, it is quite difficult to see who is in which cars due to the sun and shadows. I will not send children out the door until we see you for safety reasons. So you can come to our classroom, or step outside of your car when you see us at the door. Thank you!
BIBLE:
Jesus heals the lame man. Jesus heals the leper.
We should appreciate the gift of healthy legs, Jesus can heal lame people. Jesus is able to cure illnesses. We need to tell others how much Jesus loves us.
The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. Luke 7:22b
TAKE HOME BAGS
There are various bags being sent home with students. Please follow the directions in the bag and return as it states or sooner! Thank you and I hope you enjoy these activities and time spent with your child.

DONUTS WITH DAD
Don’t forget Donuts with Dad on Wednesday! A flyer is going home about it today.
(Are moms feeling a little left out? Muffins with Mom will be Wednesday, February 15 – add it to your calendar!)
