Back to School Open House Night - students bring in their school supplies, visit classroom and teachers, food and fellowship with other families with a supper provided

6th - 8th grade volleyball season practice begins
September
- Volleyball practices and games vs other area Christian schools (parents take turns driving students to away games)
- Family Fun Night - play games with your child, snacks, and fellowship with other families
- Wolfpack/Knights football opportunities for boys in grades 7-8, these are instructed and arranged by Western Christian and Unity Christian High Schools
- ROOTS Fundraiser - BEC Foods (cookies, soups, breads) all families in K-8 are asked to participate in selling of these items
- All School Chapel - 3rd Wednesday of each month at 8:30 am - parents and visitors are allowed to attend
October
- Volleyball practices and games vs other Christian schools is completed
- First Thursday & Friday of October teachers attend Heartland Christian Schools Teachers Conference at Dordt University, NO school for students
- End of first quarter
November
- Parent Teacher Conferences-usually the first Tuesday & Thursday of the month from 5:00 - 8:00 pm
- Veterans Day Program - all students preschool - 8th grade participate, we invite all veterans, families, and public for the morning program
- 6th - 8th grade Basketball practice begins for girls and boys
December
- Preschool - 8th grade Christmas program
- 6th -8th grade girls and boys basketball practice and games
- 6th - 8th grade bowling before Christmas break
- Tuition should be 40% paid before second semester begins (or call finance committee member to discuss)

Miscellaneous
Text Alerts will be sent for school related activities, such as late starts, early dismissal, or cancellations.
Chapel is every third Wednesday of the month at 8:30 am in the gym, all parents/public are welcome to attend.
Every Wednesday is early dismissal at 2:10 pm, there is bus service on these days. (Sibley bus will also be available on early dismissal days).
Room Parents are assigned at the beginning of the year to help in their specific classrooms during special times, events, and activities.
Shepherding parents will be assigned to new families - they will be your contact person with questions that may arise during each month.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to come visit, help serve lunch, and have lunch with their children throughout the year.
We encourage everyone to attend all the special events throughout the school year - concerts, science fairs, programs, plays, specific classroom events, and field trips.
